The story behind People Magazine Investigates — The Springfield Three
Sherrill Levitt, her daughter Suzie Streeter, and Suzie’s friend Stacy McCall vanished from a Springfield, Missouri, home in 1992 after graduation celebrations. Their cars and personal belongings were left behind. With no clear explanation for all three women’s disappearance, the case became one of the region’s most closely followed mysteries.
