Eight of Marie Noe’s infants died under circumstances once attributed to unexplained natural causes. Decades later, investigators reopened the Philadelphia case and obtained admissions. Noe pleaded guilty to eight counts of second-degree murder in 1999 under an agreement that included probation and psychiatric evaluation.
